Granola bars

Who doesn't love a good granola bar especially ones that are healthy for you, but these do not compromise on taste, assembly is so easy that the hardest part is waiting for them to set! These are so good you can even ship them to your loved ones, just make sure you properly pack it.

Approximately 40 min

Ingredients

2 cups of oats

1/2 cup of pistachios

1/2 cup of pecans

1/2 cup of almonds

1/2 cup of shredded coconut

1 cup cup of a mix of apricots, raisins, cranberries

For the sauce to bring it all together

2/3 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 3 tbsp coconut oil, a splash of vanilla, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon


Directions

Toast the oats at 350 for about 10 min and then separately toast the nuts and coconut, then in a seperate saucepan add 2/3 cup honey, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 3 tbsp cocunut oil, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix well then let it the sauce come to a simmer then turn off the heat. Mix all the ingredients together and press in the mixture in a 9 by 13 greased pan with parchment paper.

Put the granola in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 25 min then take out and let it cool for 2-3 hrs, slice and enjoy!
