It's the end of Ramadan now, and I'm sure alot of people have extra dates laying around. Well this cake is perfect for that, and of course its perfect to make all year round. I have healthified this cake and you won't even miss the sugar here! It's full of nutrients which your soul craves and best of all its delicious and you can have this for breakfast, perfect for an afternoon snack, and a big cup of coffee goes perfect with this cake! It's a cake you will be delighted to give to your kids also!
Tip- while making this cake make sure to use medjool dates, they are the only ones, they are also known as the diamond of all dates, they are big and juicy, you can use other brands but to me this is the best.

Ingredients
9-10 medjool dates pitted
1/2 cup of applesauce
2 heaping tbsp of dark chocolate almond butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup of honey
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp pumpkin spice (optional)
1 tsp vanilla powder/extract
1 1/2 of almond flour
1/3 cup of oats
1/2 cup of pecans
Directions
Cover the pitted dates with boiling water for 5 min then drain and mush together with a fork, then add the rest of the wet ingredients and mix. After all is mix, add the almond flour and mix with a spatula then add oats and mix then add the chopped pecans at the end, use a greased springform pan to put the batter in and bake in a preheated 375 degree oven.

After the cake is out the oven and cooled you can drizzle it with an almond butter glaze.
Glaze
2 tbsp of dark chocolate almond butter
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
A drizzle of honey
2-3 tbsp of cashew milk ( can use regular milk if u want)
Just mix well till becomes a little runny and drizzle
